RAPID-LINK SYSTEM: HOW TO CORRECT LAMBDA DIAGRAM |
RAPID
LINK is a new, powerful SOFT-ENGINE
system to improve motorcycle performances, by the correction of lambda
diagram, this system is totally merged and
compatible with Soft-Engine dynamometer software.
RAPID
LINK software can manage
the electronic injection and the
lambda curve dynamical correction for
motorcycles using RAPID BIKE
control units. During a test with
Soft-Engine
motorcycle dynamometer the
Air/Fuel diagram can be drawn quickly: the
values appear in a mapping chart, so the software calculates the
adjusting data before the device
memory upgrading. The system works during
inertial and braked tests. So, real-time
mappings or auto-mappings
are possible!
RAPID
LINK system can be added to Inertial
5.0 and Braker 6.0
software, so it could be used with both accelerative and braked
dynamometer.
By
accelerative dynamometers is possible to store a lambda
diagram, to correct it and to make another test, after the map
correction. This is the "Fast lambda graphical correction"
function.
By
braked dynamometers it is possible to use the "Fast
lambda graphical correction", or the "Real
time lambda correction" module, correcting the
injection and/or the advance during a braked test

RAPID-LINK SYSTEM:
"FAST LAMBDA GRAPHICAL CORRECTION" |
Use
this function to correct directly the lambda diagram, after an
accelerative or a braked test.
STEP
1: the stored lambda (red diagram) should
be move toward the bottom
(green
diagram) to improve the motorcycle performances.
STEP
2: with the use of some cursors, it is possilble to correct the
stored lambda (red)
and
to model the lambda shape with complete freedom (green
curve).
The
mapping chart upgrade is automatic.
STEP
3: repeat the test after chart correction. The new lambda
diagram is similar
to
the planned one and the bike performances are improved (see torque
diagram for example).

"REAL TIME LAMBDA CORRECTION" |
Use
this function to correct real time a map injection or the advance
during a braked test. The RPM values in which is possible to variate
the advance/injection are the ones imposed by the map.
By
the BRAKER 6.0 software data store window is possible to variate
advance and injection at map RPM,
in
this way lambda, horse-power and torque values reach improved values,
during a braked test only.
This
is the REAL TIME procedure!
