BRAKER  is a data acquisition and calculation software by Soft-Engine for braked dynamometers.  The version 6.0 runs on WINDOWS environment (all  versions); "Click" with the mouse to start functions.

 

Braker 6.0 has big potentialities, like 5.0 version, but includes particularly the "Rapid-Link" module, to manage advance and injection of "Rapid Bike" control units. 

Here the new functions:   

  • Inertial and braked tests are better separated;

  • Endurance Test: a chart of RPM, seconds and TPS values can be communicated to the software, so a period of several hours can be setted for a test. It is possible to connect the software to an automatic system for gas control (engines dynamometers). 

  • Road simulation test becomes easier,  because some truethfull parameters can be imposed (the values depends on the vehicle typology). These factors (CX, pneumatic coefficient etc..) can be modified by the user.

  • MODULE RAPID-LINK is included; DURING A NORMAL DYNAMOMETER TEST it is possible to choose:

    • To redraw a lambda curve already exsisting or just measured after a inertial or braked test; in this way, after the lambda is redrawn, the map chart corrects itself and lambda curve corrects too according to the new chart values in a successive run. Obviously, Horsepower and torque increases. Or:

    • Real time lambda curve correction, with a braked test. The mapping chart can be opened or acquired from motorcycle "Rapid bike" control-unit and it is possible to correct it varying the injection or the advance at mapping RPMs.
