The dynamometers
for Kart, Superkart, Quad, Motorcycles and
Microcars represent the new
challenge of SOFT-ENGINE
production. These dynamometers can test the entire vehicle, and not
only Kart (or Quad) engine. Infact, the dynamometer has a knurled
roller (one for each drive vehicle's wheel), their mass is big, so
truthful accelerative tests are possible.
The dyno
chassis is sturdy, the sheet is closed over the mouvement parts, so
test are made in total security conditions. The accelerative
dynamometer model is suitable to add the eddy current brake, infact
there is a joint for connection. Dynamometer is varnidshed red
colour, with a beautiful effect. Dyno can
be put in a ground's hole, in this case user must dig an hole with the
correct dimensions.
Generally,
by this dyno is possible to test all kind of dwo-drive vehicle with
little dimensions, like the "microcars". For some vehicles
(especially competition Karts)
it's necessary to add the electric starter,
so dynamometers are suitable for setting-up this accessory. In
particular, the adding of electric starter is very simple because
it's enough to connect the device to the suitable connector.
Soft-Engine
Kart and Quad dynamometers exsists in two different versions, Inertial
(inertial tests) and Braker
(braked tests) When the
dynamometer is used in the inertial mode, it can measure quantities like horse-power, torque,
acceleration, vehicle speed and distance (travelled by the vehicle
over the roller, only if you input the pneumatic development data), with great precision and
quickness.
About "Inertial
KQ 100" model, this dyno is specific for Kart engine 60-100-125
cc,
and for each others engine until 100 HP. It has a traditional
electronic, data store system is made by an hi-definition encoder
and its acquisitiopn card, but it's possible to add some optional
devices in a second time. The "BRAKER
KQ 100" dyno is quite
similar to "Inerial KQ 100"
one, but it has the eddy current brake.
The
most complete dynamometer model is called "Braker
KQM 150", a “multi-purpouse” dynamometer to
test Kart, Quads and Motorcycles: thanks to the eddy
current brake, you can steady
the engine at different rpm points, so you can make the
engine mapping.
Moreover, by our special combined test, it's possible to make a
realistic road-simulation,
because while you accelerate the vehicle, the eddy current brake
gives a suitable progressive load to engine to simulate the road
conditions.
The braker
Dynamometer "BRAKER SKQM 150"
is a recent evolution of "Braker KQM 150"model: in fact
its roller is longer, so it is possible to test Kart,
Quad and Moto,
but also Superkarts and Microcars.
The
dynamometer has some accessories like
carburation data acquisition by lambda
device, rpm direct acquisition, exhaust
gas temperature measurement, and others. All the
accessories can be added in a second time after basic-dynamometer
purchasing. Accelerative dynmometers are suitable to up-grade the
eddy current brake, so you can change quickly your Soft-Engine
accelerative dynamometer into a braked ones, payng only the
different cost! Even eddy current brake can be set-up on dynamometer
in a second time, so it is possible to transform a "Inertial
KQ 100"
dynamometer into a "BRAKER
KQ 100", with a simple electronic, software (and cost!)
up-grade.
Finally, Soft-Engine
gives to you a complete cooling fan - exhaust gas aspiration system,
suitable for this dynamometers. The rear safety gate (annexed to the
basic dynamometer) works also like an exhaust gas collector,
certaninly an elegant and working idea. Soft-Engine builds also
isolated rooms for theese dynamometers.
From year
2004, there is another important dyno accessory: the automatic
meteo device, to acquire directly environment data for
Horse-power and torque correction! |
