2TPORT SOFTWARE

2TPORT is a software by Soft-Engine to calculate area parameters related to all kinds of port (time-area, etc.) and to estimate performance data. It optimises the bore / stroke ratio and the crank radius /con-rod length ratio.

This software allows you to trace any kind of port contour (simple and/or complex geometry).

The port parameters which can be calculated by this software are:

• max. area - mean area

• angle-area (angle x mean area)

• specific-angle-area (angle x area / capacity)

• time-area (total period x mean area)

• specific-time-area (time-area / capacity)

These parameters allow performances to be assessed, provided ports shape is given. Ports can be optimised as follows:

• vary the bore / stroke ratio

• vary the crank / con-rod lenght ratio.

It prints charts and graphics.
