2TBASE is a simulation software by Soft-Engine for 2-stroke engines with spark plug ignition up to 500 cc (30 in³) and 20,000 r.p.m. Enter data relevant to engine, cylinder geometric layout, intake and exhaust layout, combustion, etc. Data input is easy and intuitive. Results are in terms of torque and horsepower in the range of  revolutions per minute previously set. The engine model can be customised  and geometrical data, such as intake and exhaust pipes length can be modified. Moreover power and torque curves can be superposed and displayed, so that you can observe them as if you were in front of a power test bench. This software can compare up to 3 power and torque curves simultaneously. Intake by piston port and by rotary valve systems  is also included in the program. Muffler cones to be entered are  max. 4 (divergent) and max. 2 (convergent). Cylinder parameters (e.g.: time-area, etc...) can be calculated too. Charts and graphics can be printed.

The same as version ST version including:

• inlet through  reed valve intake system

• reed valve movement as a function of crank angle partially displayed during calculation.

The reed movement works on the entire length of the petal part, not only on its end. Mass, material rigidity and forces acting on it are monitored. This is the first commercial software providing an accurate data processing of the reed movement.

• up to 8 divergent cones

• up to 4 convergent cones

• display during calculation:

  • full-screen reed valve movement

  • intake and exhaust pressure + reed valve movement

  • as above + reed valve lift

• up to 5 consecutive variations (intake, exhaust, etc.)

• exhaust control valve.
